REGISTRATION INFORMATION – 2018

CLASS ASSIGNMENTS

Class assignments will be based on the child’s age on September 1.  Children are assigned a classroom/teacher for the school year. Children move up to the next age group at the start of the following school year, not on their birthday.

FOR RETURNING STUDENTS

Completed registration packets, along with the full registration fee, must be turned in at the Day School office to either the Director, Assistant Director or Office Assistant by February 2. We will NOT be responsible for packets that are left on a desk, sent in book bags, given to teachers or forms that are returned uncompleted.  Uncompleted forms will be returned and not given priority status.

For those wishing to make a change in your enrollment status and you ARE on the waiting list for a change, you may make the requested change on the attached registration form and return it to the office. Priority will be given in the order your name CHRONOLOGICALLY appears on the waiting list (earliest date received). The changes will be based on availability. You will be informed if a change cannot be made. For enrolled children who are not on the waiting list and wish to make a change, you will need to register for your child’s current space and then come on the scheduled day, to see if a change can be made.  Again, the requested change will be based on availability.

The Day School’s Advisory Board has approved the following priority for registration:

In order to receive a CHURCH MEMBER status, you must have joined LMPC before December 31 (previous year).

In order to receive a SIBLING status, a child must be currently enrolled in the program.

 

Registration Priority

  1. Currently enrolled children
  2. Church Member children with siblings enrolled who are on the Waiting List*
  3. Non-Church Member children with siblings enrolled who are on the Waiting List*
  4. Church Member children with siblings enrolled who are not on the Waiting List
  5. Non-Church Member children with siblings enrolled who are not on the Waiting List
  6. Church Member children who are on the Waiting List*
  7. Church Member children who are not on the Waiting List
  8. Non-Church Members/Community Members who are on the waiting list*
  9. Open Registration

*Names will be called in the order they chronologically appear on the waiting list (earliest date received). If your name is called and you are not present, you will lose your priority in line and your name will be marked off the wait list.  If you arrive late, you will need to wait until the session is over to inquire about spaces available.  If you are not present, your name will be marked off the wait list. For sessions without a waiting list, you will sign in as you enter the building. Your name will be called in order of your arrival.

During registration, if a space is available and offered to you, payment and registration forms must be submitted at that time to hold your child’s space for the new school year. We will not be able to hold spaces due to lack of payment or completed forms. If you do not wish to accept the space offered, you are under no obligation to pay a registration fee. To have registration run with limited delays, we respectfully request that you please call the Day School office prior to registration concerning program, policies or any other questions.  Please be familiar with our program and policies, including the calendar, tuition and the part-time days that are offered for the different age groups.

Registration will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Day School & Children’s Ministry Building. 

2018 REGISTRATION SCHEDULE:

MONDAY, JANUARY 22 – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2:

All children who are currently enrolled at LMPC Day School.

 

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 from 9:00am – 12:00pm:

Children who are currently enrolled at LMPC Day School who ARE NOT on the waiting list to make a status change.

Children who are currently enrolled who wish to make a status change (full-time to part-time, two-day to three or five-day and vise-versa). Priority will be given in order of appearance (first come, first served).

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 @ 9:15am:

Church Member Children with Siblings Enrolled who ARE on the Waiting List.

Names will be called in the order they chronologically appear on the waiting list (earliest date received).

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 @ 10:15am:

Non-Church Member Children with Siblings Enrolled who ARE on the Waiting List.

Names will be called in the order they chronologically appear on the waiting list (earliest date received).

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 @ 11:00am:

Church Member Children with Siblings Enrolled who are NOT on the Waiting List.

Siblings of all currently enrolled children who are not on the waiting list. Priority will be given in order of arrival  (first come, first served).

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 @ 11:15am:

Non-Church Member Children with Siblings Enrolled who are NOT on the Waiting List.

Priority will be given in order of arrival (first come, first served).

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15 @ 9:15am:

Church Member Children who are on Waiting List.

Members of LMPC who are interested in enrolling their children. Names will be called in the order they chronologically appear on the waiting list (earliest date received).

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15 @ 9:45am:

Church Member Children who are NOT on Waiting List

Members of LMPC who are interested in enrolling their children. Priority will be given in order of arrival                (first come, first served).

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15 @ 10:30am:

Non-Church Members/Community Members who are on the waiting list

Names will be called in the order they chronologically appear on the waiting list (earliest date received).

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16 @ 9:15am

Registration will open to the community.

Priority will be given in order of arrival (first come, first served).

 

Registration packets and forms are available in the Day School office.
